Weekend fun, Watsons Bay, Bondi Markets, Free Guided Tour, Intern Meeting

Last weekend was super exciting!!
If I had to recommend a place to visit in Sydney, it would have to be the Sydney Botanic Gardens and Watsons Bay. The Botanic Gardens is situated right behind Hyde Park, but it is so quiet that it is hard to believe that you are in Australia's biggest city with a population of about 4,5 million people. There is an amazing scenery along the harbour. On the one side you have a beautiful view of Sydney's Harbour Bridge and on the other side you can see the Finger Wharf.

On Saturday we took advantage of the free guided tour offered by Peek Tours. We walked for three hours through the city and heard a lot of interesting stories. The tour was really entertaining and we had a lot of fun and best of all, it was free.

On Sunday we went to Bondi Markets and found some funny stuff to try on. Sad that it is going to be summer soon, otherwise those hats would have been perfect for a cold winter day.

After we arrived at Watsons Bay we tried to take group pictures. We put 5 cameras in a row on a wall and pressed selftimer on the cameras. This is my shot. I'm the only one not looking at the camera!!!

Watsons Bay is beautiful. You can take a walk around the bay, past Camp Cove and to the lighthouse. There you can take some great pictures on a canon with the ocean in the background. Word of warning, don't get a shock when you pass the nudist beach.

Another special event was our Intern Meeting on Tuesday. We met at Grill'd for a burger and some fries and went for a drink afterwards. It was nice to see some new faces there as well as some old ones.
