Cheap Shopping

Sydney is a very expensive place but if you look close enough you might get some things even cheaper than back home. Here are my recommendations. If you know other places please let me know.


 
Aldi Supermarket
In Aldi you can find everything from groceries, toiletries and special buys like pots and pans. Check out their website for special offers.

Paddy's Markets
Are you tired of that cheap junk food, but vegetables and fruits are too expensive? Check out Paddy's market!
If you go there Sundays at 5pm you can get a whole bag of apples or potatoes for $1. You also can purchase good cheap clothes and make up.
It is on located in Haymarket.

7 Eleven
The store is usually really expensive but they offer the cheapest coffee I could find. Get your coffee for $1...I was impressed with the taste! Have a look on their website to find a store close to you.

K-Mart
Another cheap store is called K-Mart. Here you can find cheap clothes, shoes, toys, electronic devices and usual household stuff like bedding etc.
Believe me, they are really good looking clothes. I could easily fill my wardrobe with their clothes.Check out their newsletter and website for special savings.

For buying cheap chocolates and sodas find The Reject Shop. It also offers cheap laundry powder, hygiene items and electronics. Website

Right above Paddy's Market you can find Market City. It is a fashion outlet with stores like Esprit, Rubi Shoes, Converse, Cotton on etc.
