Life in Sydney is fantastic!!
The city has so much to offer and I'm enjoying every single week in a new way. I'm starting to feel like there isn't enough time to see all the beautiful places on my list. Now that the weather is improving there are even more things to see and do.

This weekend I went to the Blue Mountains with Colourful Trips.
The mountains are amazing and are essential for anyone traveling to Sydney. We were picked up at 7:55am from Circular Quay by the bus and our first stop was Featherdale Wildlife Park. There we could take pictures with a cuddly koala while little wallabies were hopping around us. It was so cute!!

The next stop was at a view point out over the breathtaking Blue Mountains and huge waterfalls.

After that we headed on to the famous Three Sisters. We had a tour guide throughout the day and he explained the Aboriginal story about 'the sisters'.
Three Sisters |
We took a walk through the rainforest where there were so many cockatoos flying around and screeching. We also took the world's steepest railway back to the summit. It was very exciting. Instead of driving back the same way we came, we took a ferry along the Parramatta River to Darling Harbour. There we had a couple of drinks at Cargo Bar with the tour guide and some other people who joined the trip.
On Tuesday evening we had an intern meeting at The Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills. It was a nice evening and I was glad to see so many interns!

We have organised a picnic/bbq for the intern meeting.

Time: 2pm
Where: Tamarama Beach
Meeting Point: Next to the children’s playground on the grass behind the beach

Bring your own food, drinks, blankets, footballs and anything else you desire.
I will bring a big Australian flag so you can't miss me.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there!
